Ahmad Khanijahani, PhD, CPH
Ahmad Khanijahani joined Duquesne in 2019. He has a PhD in Public Affairs with a track specialization in Health Services Management and Research from the University of Central Florida. He has received several prestigious fellowships such as the University of Central Florida’s trustees’ doctoral fellowship and dissertation award. His broad domain knowledge, training and expertise in health economics, health services management, public health and public affairs empower him to hold an interdisciplinary approach to addressing and studying organizational and public issues.
Dr. Khanijahani’s knowledge and experience with different statistical approaches, analytical methods and computer programs enable him to conceptualize and design innovative and effective data-driven research studies. He has several ongoing research projects and peer-reviewed publications. He is also an active and contributing member of several national and international scientific societies such as American Public Health Association (APHA), Academy Health, and International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR).
